IRC information specialists are social workers, nurses and health educators. National education workshops The Society sponsors a range of teleconferences and Webcasts on topics of interest to patients and caregivers. Local links The Washington/Alaska Chapter is building a resource list of organizations that serve blood cancer patients and their families in Washington and Alaska. National links The Society regularly updates this list of links to organizations around the country that serve cancer patients and their families. Online discussion boards Join the Society's online community to meet others in similar situations, get support, and share hope. Order free materials The Society publishes many educational brochures and pamphlets that are available free to the public. They are designed to provide up-to-date information in language understandable by the layperson.
