
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a proud member of Community Health Charities Minnesota (CHCM). CHCM is passionate about improving lives affected by chronic illness.
CHCM is an alliance of leading nonprofit health research and service organizations whose mission is to improve lives affected by chronic illness by investing in health research, services, and education.
They work with employers to enhance their charitable activity, and provide employees with meaningful ways to connect with health charities they care about through workplace giving, volunteerism, and education.
Together, providing help and hope to over 1.5 million Minnesotans whose lives are affected by chronic illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes and Alzheimer's.
Funds raised though Community Health Charities support services in five critical areas:
- medical research
- patient services
- professional health education
- public health education
- community health services
Although LLS is not a member of United Way, donors can still designate their donation to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Society is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
