Bill Beattie, President and founder of Beattie Homes, was a highly respected member of the Calgary building community for more than 25 years.

Bill was diagnosed in January of 2008 with leukemia and underwent intense treatment.  During his treatment, Bill, his family and friends were amazed there was no financial support for basic living needs for patients undergoing treatment for leukemia.  After a major fundraiser in March, the family decided to establish a foundation to provide assistance to other patients in need. 

Unfortunately, we lost Bill in May of 2008 but his philanthropy and kindness will live on through the Bill Beattie Memorial Endowment Fund.  Your generous dollars, no matter how little or how big will make a tremendous difference in someone's life as they fight for their life in their battle against leukemia.  By your donations, you are helping them by providing them with basic living requirements and letting them focus on their fight.
