The Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a fundraising competition among individuals in the community who, through their participation, vie for the honor of being the Man or Woman of the Year. Candidates are judged solely on a philanthropic basis. The individuals who raise the most funds during the nine week campaign will be awarded the title of Man & Woman of the Year at the Grand Finale Gala.
The 2009 campaign began on Thursday, February 19, and culminated in our Grand Finale Gala at Conrad Indianapolis on Saturday, April 25, 2009. We congratulate all of the candidates for their collective efforts in raising money for the LLS mission - in total these nine individuals raised more than $145,000 to fund research and patient support. We also congratulate the 2009 Man of the Year, Vince Todd, Jr., and the 2009 Woman of th Year, Barb Stayton, for their amazing fundraising success!
