What Society Ties Does
- Fundraising Events
Society Ties gets involved by participating in the Society's fundraising activities, including the Man & Woman of the Year Campaign. For the last three years, Society Ties has supported their fellow Society Ties members, Mark Ritacca, Andrea Rodgers and Chris Malloy in this campaign raising over $53,000! For more information on Man & Woman, please click here.
- Volunteering
In addition to fundraising, each member is encouraged to volunteer at other Society events. As a nonprofit organization, the Society relies heavily on the support of its volunteers. As a young, contributing member of the Society you will have the opportunity to participate in some of the area's most sought-after events: The Leukemia Ball, The Leukemia Cup Regatta, Team In Training®, Light The Night® Walk and many more.
- Community Service Projects
As a member of Society Ties, you will certainly have fun, participate in some amazing events and meet many other young professionals with similar interests. However, the one thing that binds us together is the desire to help others. All members of Society Ties are invited to participate in community-service activities. This gives our members a "hands-on" opportunity to make a difference in their community.
Who We're Looking For
Young, energetic professionals, between the ages of 22-35, who are interested in being a part of an organization dedicated to helping those with blood cancer. We are looking for energetic, dedicated people who are connected to the community and have a true desire to give back.
