Live Online Chat

We know what you are going through. Let's talk to each other.

Recognizing the needs of families from the initial phases of diagnosis, through treatment decisions and survivorship, the Lymphoma and Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) online chat forums brings non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and CML patients together and offers the opportunity to share experiences with one another. These forums will be offered to registrants and will be live, two-hour chat sessions moderated by an oncology social worker. Each group will meet weekly.

The online live chat groups for lymphoma and CML patients are not a replacement for psychotherapy or support groups. The chats will be moderated by a professional hematology oncology social worker. The role of the moderator/facilitator will be to designate a topic, provide support, and guide conversation, as needed, throughout the chats. The moderator's role will be largely determined by the participants in each group, their wants and needs.

The online live chats are designed to provide mutual support to members who may feel a little less alone by talking to others whose situations are similar to their own. In talking to and sharing with others in similar circumstances...we help ourselves...

The on-going, online chat groups are as follows:

Monday/Wednesday Group:
Living with NHL: Gaining a Sense of Balance
The purpose of this chat group is to provide a forum so patients can address the stresses and triumphs shared by those living with NHL survivorship issues.
This chat group is open for you to discuss any issue related to living with NHL: a new diagnosis, treatment decisions, relapse, treatment side effects, emotional toll, fatigue, interpersonal relationships, clinical trials, living with uncertainty, etc.

8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. CT
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. MT
