Showcase for a Cure is a project benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Eastern North Carolina Chapter. With the money raised, LLS is able to fund research, patient and family support groups, patient education programs and much more. The project began in 2001 and since it's inception has raised $1.5 million for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission to cure blood cancers.
Each year a custom builder is chosen to build a home seeking the support of area vendors to secure donated products and services. After the Showcase for a Cure is complete, it is decorated by a team of local designers who donate their time and talent to furnish the home with donated or discounted furnishings which are available for purchase on silent auction during the time that the home is open to the public.
In 2008, we are proud to partner with Phil Miller Construction and Creedmoor Partners to showcase a 7,131 square foot home in Hasentree.
Creedmoor Partners will host a Preview Gala on Friday, Oct. 3 and the completely decorated home and home furnishings silent auction will be open to the public during the annual Parade of Homes on the following dates:
Oct. 4-5, 12-5 p.m.
Oct. 10-12, 12-5 p.m.
Oct. 17-19, 12-5 p.m.
We are excited to showcase the home, home furnishing and design, and the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society during this exclusive opportunity to experience Hasentree and enjoy a special tour of this magnificent, professionally decorated home.
