I know how to subscribe, what do I need to do now? 
You'll have to subscribe to an online "News Aggregators", "RSS Reader" or "News Reader". 

Don't worry... there are an abundance of tools out there including these free and popular ones:

• NewsGator (www.newsgator.com)
• Bloglines (www.bloglines.com)
• Yahoo.com (http://my.yahoo.com/)
• If you use Firefox, try out Sage, an inline RSS reader

Usually, you can click the "XML" or "RSS" button and it will display a bunch of code- don't worry about the code. What you need is the web site address that appears when you click the XML button. It usually looks like: http://www.sitename.com/index.rdf or http://www.sitename.com/index.xml .

Once you have that address, copy and paste the URL into your reader and you're all set as a subscriber.

Why do I want to do this? What is the advantage?
RSS allows you be notified when a web site has been updated - no spam, no email, just content updates when YOU want them! Normally, you would have to proactively visit the site or subscribe to get email as updates occur. RSS alerts you without email. You just subscribe and are alerted when there is new content to look at!
