Celebrating 20 years of saving lives...one SPLASH at a time!

Kaylee Ferraraccio kicked off the event by Splashing in honor of her cousin, Alexis. Alexis is the 20th Anniversary Patient Ambassador. She participated as a patient the very first Gelatin Splash.

On Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Banchetti by Rizzo's, 101 caring participants raised funds to "Splash" into 1,000 gallons of jiggly "Berry Blue" gelatin in honor of local cancer patients! Each participant had the opportunity to share the reason why they are splashing, and the stories were very warm and inspirational.

Although the weather was rainy and cool, the spirits of Splashers and spectators were warm & sunny. Thanks to our new Hosting Sponsor, Banchetti by Rizzo's, more than 1,000 people were able to stay dry under their huge covered pavilion. 

We truly appreciate the support of all splashers, sponsors, donors, volunteers and spectators! Thank you for helping to advance our mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Splashers needed to raise a minimum of $300 to participate, but many went above and beyond in their efforts to raise funds to fight blood cancers. Prizes were awarded to the top 20 fundraisers.
