When I register for Make Cures Happen, do I automatically get a spot in the Women's Running Magazine Women's Half Marathon?
No. You need to be already registered in the half marathon in order to participate in Make Cures Happen.

When is the deadline to register?
There is no deadline to register for Make Cures Happen, but the earlier you start, the more you can raise.

When is the deadline to hand in money?
Postmark your donations and collection form by November 22, 2009. Please do not staple or tape checks to the form. Make sure the form is completely filled out with your address and phone number and that you keep a copy of it for your records.

Can I turn in money on the day of the marathon?
No money will be collected at the half marathon. Please mail all checks, with your collection form, to:

How can I reach my fundraising goal?
Each Make Cures Happen participant receives a personal Web page to personalize and track donations. Donors may visit your page and make a secure donation. This is an easy way to increase your fundraising. Please see all of our great fundraising tips and tools here.

How can people contribute to my event?
There are several ways to contribute to Make Cures Happen. Donors may visit your personal Web page to make a secure, online donation by credit card. Or use this donation form to collect donations from your friends and families.

When will I get my T-shirt?
Participants will receive their T-shirt if a donation of $15 was submitted with the online registration. T-shirts will be mailed out approximately two weeks after your registration is submitted.

When will I get my incentives?
To qualify for incentives, the envelope containing your sponsors' checks must be postmarked no later than November 22, 2009. You will receive your incentive approximately 6-8 weeks after the Women's Running Magazine Women's Half Marathon
