Family Support Groups
The Family Support Group Program is based on the idea that open communication about the illness is critical for coping with all feelings that arise. With appropriate professional guidance, patients and family members can discuss their anxieties with each other and with others who share the same burden. This sharing of ideas and emotions strengthens the family bond and enhances everyone's ability to cope with the disease.
All patients, family members and friends affected by leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers are invited to attend local Society groups free of charge.
