Dress Down for Leukemia & Lymphoma

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding way for your company and
co-workers to give back to the community?  Join AM 1500 KSTP Radio, SUBWAY® RestaurantsBrunswick Zone XL of Brooklyn Park and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Minnesota Chapter in the fight against blood cancer by taking part in Dress Down for Leukemia & Lymphoma Day on
Thursday, May 6, 2010.

This event is easy to organize, and it benefits local blood cancer patients as well as your employees.  For a $5 minimum donation, participants receive an official Dress Down Day sticker and earn the right to dress casually or in a company theme for a day at work.  Participating employees will receive a coupon from SUBWAY®Restaurants, (Free 6-inch sub sandwich with purchase of sub and drink.)  "SUBWAY® is a registered trademark of Doctor's Associates Inc."

The 2010 top fundraising company will win a bowling party for 100 people at Brunswick Zone in Brooklyn Park and will have their name announced on AM 1500 Radio.

2009 Dress Down Day Results

Thank you for volunteering to be a Company Captain in this year's Dress Down for Leukemia & Lymphoma event.  I am excited to report that local businesses have donated an amazing $53,000 in Dress Down 2009!  We really appreciate the generosity, compassion and creativity of local employees--especially our Company Captains.  Thank you for making a difference in the fight for a cure!

TOP FUNDRAISING COMPANIES
The 2009 top fundraising company is WSB & Associates, Inc. located in
Minneapolis.  WSB & Associates raised $3,615, and they will receive 200 tickets to a Minnesota Twins home game!  Second place is Truck Writers Inc. located in Minneapolis, they raised $3,560!  Third place is Financial One, located in Coon Rapids, they raised $2,566. Congratulations to our 2009 Top Ten fundraising companies listed below.
