Participants will: Learn about important dietary guidelines and the use of nutritional supplements, and Understand how to develop an overall lifestyle program which includes nutrition, physical fitness and stress management to optimize health and well-being. Ac., M.Ac., a nationally licensed acupuncturist from Lourdes Wellness Center, for a program about the benefits of acupuncture. Participants will: Learn about the history & science behind acupuncture, Learn about how acupuncture works and how it promotes better health, Discuss acupuncture as a treatment modality for cancer-related conditions, and Receive acupuncture demonstrations. Laurel, 08054 Join LLS and the Mt. Laurel Family Support Group as we welcome Barbara Moeller, MA, CYT, RYT, Director of Yoga Teacher Training at Lourdes Institute of Wholistic Studies, for a program about the practice of spiritual yoga. Participants will: Learn the background & health benefits of yoga, Discuss the connection between yoga and wholistic spirituality, Learn about diaphragmatic breathing, and Participate in a beginner's yoga class (performed mostly in chair).
