The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society offers the most comprehensive array of services to patients and families touched by blood cancers. A diagnosis of leukemia, Hodgkin or non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma brings many daily challenges. The Society is committed to providing support and guidance to patients and the health professionals who care for them.
The Rocky Mountain Chapter serves people affected by blood cancers in Colorado and Wyoming. Listed below is information about local programs and events. There is never a charge for any program or service offered by the Society. The Trish Greene Back to School Program for Children with Cancer
Materials, videos, and other printed inventory are available to increase communication among healthcare professionals, parents, patients, and school personnel to assure a smooth transition from active treatment back to school.
Patient Financial Aid
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Patient Financial Aid Program offers up to $150.00 per year to help patients offset expenses. Receipts for expenses are no longer required. To apply, the patient must be a U.S. resident and be in active treatment or ongoing medical follow-up for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma or myelodysplastic syndromes or other blood cancer. The patient's physician must complete and sign the bottom portion of the application form. The patient must return the completed application to the local chapter.
The Patient Financial Aid program begins each July 1 and ends each June 30. Patients must reapply every year (after June 30th). As always, reimbursement is based on patient financial aid fund availability.
Advocacy Network
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society serves as a voice on Capitol Hill for people with leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. Join the grassroots advocacy network of patients and concerned persons to express concerns to legislators to ensure adequate funding for research and protection of patient's rights.

Disease, treatment, coping information and other resources are available from the chapter office, from the Information Resource Center at (800) 955-4572 or from this Web site.
