Eat at IHOP on National Pancake Day!
To celebrate National Pancake Day, each year International House of Pancakes (IHOP) offers a FREE short stack of pancakes to all guests visiting participating restaurants throughout the Washington, DC, Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia areas from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Each year, LLS volunteers and IHOP staff come together to collect donations for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission in lieu of payment for pancakes.
On Tuesday, February 12, 2008 with more than 30 IHOP stores and countless volunteers and donors in the Washington, D.C. area working for LLS, the National Capital Area Chapter is hopeful we can raise awareness and funds for blood cancer research and patient services. In 2007, $20,000 was raised on National Pancake Day for the National Capital Area Chapter.
You can get involved by dining at your local IHOP or by volunteering to collect donations in one of the participating IHOPs on National Pancake Day each year. For more information or to find out how to volunteer please contact Rachel Holt at the Society: (703) 960-1100, ext. 228 or email rachel.holt@lls.org.

Our deepest thanks to all volunteers who donated their time and energy to this campaign, as well as all IHOP patrons who came out to celebrate Pancake Day with a donation to the Society! Our deepest thanks also to IHOP for their generosity and continuing partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in our fight against blood cancers. Together we can make it happen!
