In 2009, The Leukemia & Lyphoma Society (LLS), Greater Sacramento Area Chapter, will celebrate its 13th annual Man, Woman, Celebrity & Teen of the Year campaign. The Man, Woman, Celebrity & Teen of the Year campaign is an elite social fundraising campaign for LLS. It is a ten-week fundraiser during which candidates raise funds for LLS and compete for the title of Man, Woman, Celebrity or Teen of the Year.

The ten-week campaign begins with a Kick-Off Party, to be held on March 25, 2009 at Jaguar of Sacramento, and culminates with the Grand Finale, a black tie gala on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at The Sheraton Grand. Candidate fundraising events are held in the weeks between the Kick-Off and the Grand Finale.

Candidates are publicly recognized through the media, press releases, and may be featured on billboards, print media, bus advertising. The winners of the 2009 Man, Woman, Celebrity & Teen of the Year Campaign  will be announced at the Grand Finale Gala, on June 6, 2009 and will be featured on billboards and bus advertisements strategically placed throughout the Sacramento area.

Can you picture yourself in a full page Sacramento Magazine Ad? How about on a billboard in Sacramento?
How about giving hope to over 800,000 American's living with a blood cancer?

If so, you could be the next Man, Woman, Celebrity or Teen of the Year!
