The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Specialized Center of Research (SCOR) program is a unique initiative that funds leading blood cancer scientists across many disciplines. Launched in 2000, SCOR grew out of the conviction that a highly organized and inspired team approach to curing blood cancers will speed the discovery of new drugs and treatments.
Each SCOR project is funded for a five-year period. Led by extraordinary scientific innovators, SCOR teams include some of the brightest medical researchers in the field of blood cancers - specialists in genetics, cell biology, virology, immunology and other areas.
