2006 Man, Woman & Business of the Year Competition Leukemia & Lymphoma Society-Northern Ohio Chapter

The Man, Woman & Business of the Year campaign began on Wednesday, March 1st with a Kickoff Party at the House of Blues-Cleveland. The Kickoff Party provided an opportunity for candidates to meet each other and receive words of inspiration from the parents of our Boy & Girl of the Year.   Click here to meet our 2006 candidates!

Throughout the campaign, each dollar raised by a candidate counts as one vote toward the title of Man, Woman or Business of the Year.  At the end of the contest, the individual with the most votes will be named the Man, Woman or Business of the Year at the Grand Finale Celebration at the Hyatt Regency at the Arcade on Friday, May 5, 2006.  Each title holder will be featured on billboards, listed in a full page USA Today ad and receive a prize package. 

All candidates raise funds to support programs for local blood cancer patients and their families and fund research to find a cure.  The Boy & Girl of the Year are blood cancer survivors who symbolize the lives that can be helped by joining the Competition.  Female candidates will compete in honor of the Boy of the Year and male candidates will compete in honor of the Girl of the Year.  Business of the Year candidates will raise funds in honor of both children.
