About the Connecticut Chapter
The Connecticut Chapter was founded in 1971 to serve residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The chapter serves all Connecticut counties: Hartford, Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, Tolland and Windham.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, based in White Plains, NY, is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The Society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, the LLS has invested more than $600 million in research specifically targeting blood cancers.
