The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is dedicated to funding research for cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkins's disease and myeloma, and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families. Since its founding in 1949, the Society has provided more than $360 million for research specifically targeting blood cancers.

The Society's Texas Gulf Coast Chapter serves 38 counties from its office in Houston. The chapter raises money for research, patient services, education and advocacy. With a dedicated local Board of Trustees and its many volunteers, the chapter provides valuable services to its patients and donors, and to its community as a whole.
