Give yourself an excuse to take the elevator the rest of the year!  Join us for the 2nd annual Big D Climb on Saturday, January 30, 2010 again at the amazing Fountain Place!  This year promises to be bigger and better than the first annual event with live music, good food, awards ceremony immediately following the climb and more!  Don't miss out on this amazing event!  Register today! 

Big D Climb is a 52 flight climb (1040 steps) up one of Dallas' most recognized landmarks, Fountain Place.  Climbers raise money to participate through sponsorships and personal fundraising and as a result are eligible for exciting incentive prizes! There is not a deadline to regsiter for the event. Regsitration begins at 8:00 am the day of the race for those not registered. However, we will be updating the website and sending start times via email on Friday, January 22, 2010.  If you are regsitered prior to this date, we can ensure that you will race with your team, so get your team members signed up! 

Thanks to all who joined us at the first ever Big D Climb Kickoff at Avanti on Wednesday, January 6, 2010- it was a great event courtesy of Avanti and we appreciate you all coming to hear more about the Big D Climb and how to help find a cure for blood cancers!

Fountain Place

Located at 1445 Ross Avenue in Dallas, Fountain Place is a downtown landmark Internationally acclaimed and designed by award-winning, I.M. Pei & Partners. At the base of the prism-shaped skyscraper lies an oasis of water fountains under a canopy of 225 native Texas cypress trees. It's landscape is comprised of colorful seasonal flowers, waterfalls, 172 bubbler fountains and one central fountain. the central court fountain is one of the world's most complex, consisting of 360 computer-driven water jets.
