Family Support Group
Local Resources | Facilitating communication among patients, family, friends and the medical team. The Family Support Group Program is based on the idea that open communication about the illness is critical for coping with all the feelings that arise. With appropriate professional guidance, patients and family members can discuss their anxieties with each other and with others who share the same burden. This sharing of ideas and emotions strengthens the family bond and enhances everyone's ability to cope with the disease. Held in various locations in surrounding communities. Click here for more information on upcoming meetings. Information about community resources available to assist you and your family can be obtained through our office. Call Cherry Evans or Erika Pomares for further information at 713-680-8088. |
