Team In Training (TNT), The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) groundbreaking charity sports training program, has reached a remarkable milestone of raising $1 billon to support blood cancer research and patient services. Since 1988, when the first team of TNT marathoners was formed, the program has helped 420,000 people—more than 40,000 participants annually—achieve their dream of completing a marathon, half marathon, triathlon, 100-mile (century) bicycle ride or hike adventure.

For more than 21 years, TNT has been the pre-eminent charity endurance sports training program, preparing amateurs and seasoned athletes to complete a marathon, half marathon, triathlon, 100-mile century cycle ride or hike adventure. Many begin their athletic journey as "couch potatoes" who want to get in shape, triumph over a challenge and meet other motivated people. Some dedicate their time and energy in honor of a friend or loved one who has had blood cancer. Still others are cancer survivors who want to prove that they have the stamina to take on a physical challenge.

TNT racers agree to raise money to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's (LLSC) meet its mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLSC provides participants the various tools, strategies and support needed to attain their fundraising goals.
