The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is pleased to offer an extensive list of national and international resources for patients and families.  These organizations can help with financial assistance, support and counseling, assistance with transportation, summer camps and many other needs.

Disease Registries - A disease registry collects, manages and analyzes information on a patient with a particular diagnosis over an extended period of time.

Blood and Marrow Transplantation

Cord Blood Transplantation - Cord blood stem cells can be collected from the umbilical cord and placenta after a baby is born.  When needed for a transplant, the cord blood unit can be shipped to the transplant center.

Prescription Drug Assistance for People with Medical Insurance - These organizations offer assistance to eligible patients when meeting insurance medication co-pays presents a difficulty. 

Prescription Drug Assistance for People Who are Uninsured - Patients should also check with the specific drug manufacturer to see if they qualify for an available Patient Assistance Program.  Patients must meet the program's eligibility criteria.

Lodging - These are resources for temporary housing facilities for patients, and usually a family member or caretaker, when the patient is receiving care at a medical facility at a distance from home.
