No Survival Benefit of High Dose Therapy in Multiple Myeloma
High-dose therapy increases the complete remission rate in multiple myeloma patients responsive to chemotherapy, but does not extend progression-free or overall survival, Spanish researchers report.

Aspirin Reduces Thrombosis Risk with Thalidomide-Anthracycline Treatment
Daily low-dose aspirin sharply reduces the risk of thrombotic complications in multiple myeloma patients taking thalidomide along with anthracycline-based chemotherapy, without increasing the likelihood of bleeding complications, according to a new study.

Coping Skills Improve Caregivers' Well Being
A program that has been useful in improving the well-being of caregivers of Alzheimer's disease patients similarly benefits caregivers of cancer patients receiving end-of-life care, new study findings show.

Stem Cell Transplantation: Making an Informed Treatment Choice
