The 11th Annual Leukemia Cup Regatta will take place January 15-17, 2010 at Lake Pleasant, Arizona. Also, the Arizona Yacht Club will celebrate their 50th Birthday Regatta!

Special Surprise: World-renowned sailor and ESPN commentator Gary Jobson, national Regatta chairman, will be the keynote speaker during the Saturday Party on January 16th.

2010 SCHEDULE

Friday - January 15: Sailor registration, dinner, afternoon races and race preparations.

Saturday - January 16: Breakfast, sailboat racing through afternoon.
1:30 p.m. Land Cruise - lunch and auctions in the tent during the races.
4:30 p.m. Dinner, silent and live auctions hosted by Rick D'Amico for Fox 10, and Gary Jobson's presentation.

Sunday - January 17: Breakfast, more racing, lunch and racing award ceremony in afternoon. Fundraising winners announced and prizes distributed.

2009 LEUKEMIA CUP RESULTS

We had many compliments and cannot thank you enough for your generous contribution.  The regatta was a HUGE success! 

We had 240 people for dinner Saturday night (a record!), and 64 boats competing in the Leukemia Cup, Eventagram, and Birthday Regatta races.  Rick D'Amico (Channel 10 Fox News) once again emcee'd our live auction. 

The Arizona Yacht Club's goal was to raise $65,000 for LLS this year, but with gas prices sky high earlier in the year and the current economic conditions, we were doubtful.  Shame on us!  We raised over $78,000 for patient aid and blood cancer research.
